Milan – Feyenoord Preview
AC Milan are facing Feyenoord at the San Siro in a second leg from the Champions League playoffs. The Dutch side have a one goal advantage after the first leg in Rotterdam. But can they finish the job against the Rossoneri? Let’s preview it in our free soccer predictions for today.
Surprising or not, but Feyenoord won the first match against Milan last week. The Dutch side achieved a 1-0 win after a decisive goal form Igor Paixāo after just three minutes of playing. Until the end of the game Milan didn’t show much improvement which left to them losing this one.
What could Milan’s coach Sergio Conceicao change against Feyenoord in the second leg? Actually we don’t expect many changes from the Portuguese manager. Feyenoord’s ex-striker Santiago Gimenez shall lead the attack supported by Rafael Leao, Joao Felix and Christian Pulisic. These four players have to give more compared to what they showed on the pitch in the Netherlands last week.
Feyenoord need to be as good as possible in order to eliminate Milan at the San Siro. Make no mistake – the Italians will put a lot of pressure on their opponent. What the Dutch side have to do is be as compact as possible in defense and eventually hurt Milan in the attacking phase.
The Brazilian striker Igor Paixāo remains Feyenoord’s biggest threat in attack. He already scored the only goal in Rotterdam last week, so now he will be at the top of the attack at the San Siro as well.
On Saturday Feyenoord had a game in the Dutch Eredivisie, but only got a point against NAC Breda away from home – 0-0. But that’s a result that would be excellent for them at the San Siro – it’d send them to the 1/8-finals.
That’s the free soccer predictions for today for the upcoming Champions League clash between AC Milan and Feyenoord. Good luck!
