West Ham – Tottenham Preview

West Ham United hosts Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium in a game from the 35th round of the Premier League. Stick with us and our football tips today. Let’s get to work!

West Ham are safe from relegation right now, although they are at 17th place in the standings. Clearly it was not a good season for the Hammers, but now they can plan the next one and try to rebuild. West Ham have won just 9 of their matches in the league, and they are without a win in their last five matches.

Last weekend Graham Potter’s team lost again. The Londoners paid a visit to Brighton & Hove Albion and actually scored twice, but Brighton scored one more at the end – 3-2. Kudus and Soucek’s goals were not enough for West Ham.

For West Ham’s manager Graham Potter these remaining matches could be a good opportunity to decide on the players he would like to use for the next season, too. It won’t be an easy decision for sure.

Tottenham are just one position above West Ham in the standings – Spurs are 16th with 37 points. This is a pure disaster for the London giants for sure. Most likely the manager Ange Postecoglou won’t be coaching the team for the next season, unless he wins Europa League.

On Thursday Tottenham made a step towards the Europa League final with a 3-1 win at home against Bodo/Glimt. Johnson, Maddison and Solanke scored for Postecoglou’s team. It was a nice win, but looking at Tottenham’s whole season – it was not good.

Mathys Tel could return in Spurs’ line-up against West Ham. The French talent started from the bench against Bodo/Glimt.

That’s the football tips today for the Premier League showdown between West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur – two teams that are struggling this season. Good luck!
